Insurance Corporation of Barbados Ltd. (ICBL) has announced the appointment of Richard Boddy as Chief Financial Officer and President of International Operations, effective September 1, 2025.

A seasoned executive with extensive international experience in finance, operations, IT, risk, and strategy, Boddy is a highly experienced financial professional with over 20 years of expertise in the insurance and financial services sectors. He previously served as Chief Operating Officer and Board Director for Geneva International Insurance, a high-net-worth life insurer, where he played a pivotal role across Strategy, Finance, Corporate Governance, and established the Risk Management Framework for the organisation.

Given his proven track record of leading corporate transformation initiatives, Boddy’s sound background, along with his leadership and financial acumen, will support the continued stability and growth of ICBL, while ensuring adherence to sound financial governance and regulatory compliance. 

He holds a Bachelor of Science (Hons) from Brunel University, West London, and is a United Kingdom qualified Fellow of The Institute of Chartered Accountants in England and Wales (ICAEW).
