The Insurance Corporation of Barbados Ltd. (ICBL) is a proud, strong market leader in Barbados' insurance industry. We were established in 1978 as a statutory organization and subsequently privatized in 2000. Our shareholders include institutional investors and individuals, and our shares are traded on the Barbados Stock Exchange.

We have built on our strength gained in property and casualty, together with Group Life and Health insurance. We are now a fully composite company offering all classes of insurance, including individual life and health, annuities, pensions, motor, property, and casualty.

Our financial stability and capital plus reserves exceed statutory requirements and have ensured that we developed a sound reputation in the region's financial sector.
Committed to serving others, ICBL stands by its corporate social responsibility and, over the years, has contributed significantly to the development of Barbados' youth and social development.
