Notice is hereby given to shareholders of Insurance Corporation of Barbados Limited that the publication of the audited financial statements for the financial year ending December 31, 2023, has been delayed. These will be completed on or before June 30, 2025 thereafter the Annual General Meeting will be convened in July.
The delay is a result of the introduction of the new Accounting Standard IFRS 17 which directly impacts the presentation of Financial Statements for Insurance companies. Despite the delay, the company's operations remain unaffected, and we have continued to execute our strategic initiatives effectively.
We apologise for any inconvenience the delay may have caused and appreciate your understanding and continued support.
